We combined 2 of our passions, flying high over Tucson and photography, and started SkyShots Tucson. The view of Tucson and the surrounding area is positively breathtaking, and from over 2 thousand feet up we can take in the beautiful scenery of Southern Arizona. We also take ground-based photos of construction work, completed projects and exterior and interior shots for real-estate and other uses.

- We use single engine light airplanes as our platform for aerial photography. This allows us to maneuver into position for a wide variety of conditions. So if your preference is for high altitude birds-eye views, sweeping panoramas with background, or to focus in on an object or person, we have the flexibility to do exactly that. We fly with experienced pilots familiar with Southern Arizona. Of course, we comply with Federal, State and Local laws and FAA regulations.
- We are constantly reinvesting and upgrading our equipment. We use SONY cameras that allow us to take high-resolution photos that can be blown up to 60 x 40 and still show considerable detail. We have recently acquired the highly acclaimed SONY 70-400 mm G-series lens, which lets us take super-sharp images with minimal abberration. So just how high of a resolution are our images? - We have expertise in digital imaging software, including Photoshop, which is used to optimize color balance, sharpening and exposure as needed. Basic image editing is included in our costs. If desired, we can add lines, text and directional indicators, or anything else a client desires to emphasize features in a photograph.
- Production of final prints is done through a local photography print business, Jones Photo with over 60 years of experience serving the Tucson area.
- We have a gallery of stock aerial photos, as well as other types of images, taken in and around Tucson, AZ and Douglas, AZ. These are readily seen by following the links above. High-resolution images can also be ordered through our on-line processor.
